Why honesty is the whole point
AI tools generate text by predicting what usually comes next. They do not check facts. They will state a wrong figure, an outdated rule, or an invented statistic in exactly the same confident tone as a correct one.
In most contexts that is an annoyance. In work involving money, it is a liability. A confidently wrong number that reaches a client, a lender, or a tax return costs far more than the time the AI saved.
So every pack ships with the Honesty Prompt — a wrapper that fences the model to the figures you supplied, forces it to separate what it calculated from what it assumed, and requires it to state plainly where it is uncertain. It does not make AI reliable. It makes AI legible, so you can see what to check.
